He said to never bet against America as long as you have a twenty year time horizon. He also spent considerable time discussing the crash of 1929 and the subsequent countertrend rally. In 1930 no one seriously believed they were going into a depression, Sounds like he believes that today is 1930 and that if you have a 20 year time horizon then just like 1950, America will be on top of the world. Unfortunately most of us don't have a twenty year time horizon.
