Andrew, my postings about SK/LLE/PHV have to do with the fact that LLE, Laidlaw, is located in Columbia, SC and must surely be familiar with the GRNO story. The SK website contains a page about waste oil reused in their facilites in 1994, and I found it interesting that LLE is suddenly very interested in making a hostile counter offer to PHV's friendly takeover deal with SK. I also make these posts out of sheer boredom with GRNO.

COLUMBIA, S.C., Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Laidlaw Environmental Services, Inc. (NYSE: LLE) today announced that early termination of the statutory waiting period established under the Hart-Scott-Rodino review process has been granted as it concerned the Company's offer for all the outstanding shares of Safety-Kleen Corp.
