Well, I have a perfect command of Danish and Swedish, grew up half the time in Sweden and the 2nd half of my youth until age 33 in Denmark. Anything wrong with that? Then I moved to Munich (that's in Germany, by the way ...) and stayed there most of the time - except for 12 of those years in San Diego - for 41 years. So you can also add German to my perfect languages. Now, this may be a little bit beyond your comprehension, I guess.
