I saw Granite Construction got a piece of an Air Force road project upi.com I think we'll see a lot of fiber laid as a result of states receiving recent "Covid" funds. VT is contemplating using some of the money to connect homes to the internet..May be a stretch of the intended purpose. (of course VT loves to spend--far beyond their(me-taxpayer) means. vtdigger.org A lot of cash has already been handed to the states...but with strings attached :) "But with the full scope of the pandemic unknown, officials are working to understand federal guidelines for the dollars, and as requests to spend the money begin to pile up, it’s unclear how far the funding will go. The money must go towards Covid-related expenditures incurred between March 1 and Dec. 31."
