The 1600's had technology just up from primitive . Believe 1/3 population of France starved to death as they opted for cereal crops rather than root like potatoes . Lee Wheelbarger was on this early at youtube . Some of his predictions are down right mean . Things like crop losses , ice and cold causes one to think a bit more about it with a not so sure look about them . Baltic sea frozen so thick Poland took an army over it to invade Poland . Everglades frozen ect. How far were you from Iguazu Falls ?
