If anyone wants a bit more info on what the $150B Cares act funding to states can be used for, skip down to page 5 (it looks like there should be a rush to spend it, or return it to the Feds by Dec 31- I don't see states returning free money (lol))

As far as where broadband infrastructure might fit in, I'd guess you could stretch and say distance learning.
(even though the teachers and education unions will fight actually moving in that direction,imo)

And my prediction, the states won't get much additional bailout money, but restrictions on the monies already received will be loosened,so they may fill some of their budget holes (self created or virus related)
