We have all kinds of driving laws. Drunk driving, driving w/o a license with tests to pass, vehicle safety inspections. We don't have unrestricted driving like Trumphumpers want. A better way, as now has been proven by the data, is to have quarantined the most vulnerable, which is a small fraction of the population, while letting everyone else go about their business, albeit with masks and social distancing. Problems w; what you just wrote: Because of Trump's incompetence, there aren't enough tests to identify who is infected and quarantine them. So we had to lock down everyone. Another problem .... you say with masks and social distancing .... Trumphumpers like Bill are demanding an end to masks and social distancing. He said he was with the anti-mask and andi-social distancing "protestors" in Boston .. though of course he didn't show up to put his body on the line. Trump and Pence both made a show of refusing to use masks and social distancing even in areas where everyone else does. So you seem to be alone among Trumphumpers on the mask and social distancing issue.
