I am wondering if increase in volume may be as a result of increase
in institutional ownership? I read article off Bloomberg by James
Stoeffel (212) 816-1844 he reported that number of financial institutions is up to 12 from just 5 in the 3Q97. Is that buyers of the stock or does he mean banks using the machine? If it is the first could someone being buying large blocks at a discount price from MM.

Looking for answers. I'm long and bought more today.

I don't think they will go into that angle of the business, ( indentifying rare coins). Now for some more first hand information. The machines definetly build in volume the longer it's on location which surprised me greatly. I figured when people emptied their piggy's that would be it. My place has had it only a couple of months , and we do 15,000.00 a month. One of our stores in the bronx thats had it a while is averaging 40,000 dollars a month. A store we have in Ozone Park Queens had to have an additional machine put in and is averaging 80,000.00 a month. This is one of our top volume stores for our business. Coinstar says it's the only place with TWO machines. But I still can't get a definite answer on the stores "cut". When the machine malfunctions. jams. etc. COINSTAR knows electonically and always has technician there quickly.
