For any 'normal' person that would be an absolutely appalling thing to say. But then with Chump it's always about the optics for him.

As I keep saying, the Republicans are engaging in a massive gamble. And quite frankly, I am not sure they quite understand the magnitude of their gamble. In their zeal to return to the way things were, they are playing chicken with forces that could fundamentally reshape the way the US is. Revolutionary changes have a way of hurting lots of people. And that tends to make people angry and irrational.
