Read the documents and Sidney Powell's description of events. Have you ever believed something and stated it as a fact, only to learn later after receiving additional information that you were wrong? Add to that, duress: The threat of criminal prosecution of not only you but also your son, unless you plead guilty to stating what you believed, all while facing $6 million in legal fees, and losing your home and 30+ year career. Pressure to cave, fall on your sword, so to speak? Then, add the kicker: The additional information (Brady materials, just released) you just received after the plea was constitutionally required to have been provided to you before the plea, and would have provided you with a defense, but had been withheld from you when you pled, all in violation of the law. The plea should be subject to being withdrawn, is of no force or effect. As if it didn't happen. Here's something of an analogy at a different stage: Miranda warnings when arrested. If you are in police custody and not Mirandized, your confession might very well be inadmissible in Court, even if you wrote in detail facts to support every element of a crime and signed your name at the bottom.
