1c) At the corporate level, meetings may become more efficient, by way of more productive, and cheeper, unless folks use the opportunity as escape from being alone, but the point of the meetings may be lessened as customers in hiding. Very difficult to plan another Big Mac Happy Meal promotion and such.

Have a friend at hedge fund in NYC. They have organizational consensus now after some weeks that since sending everyone home to work, they have become more efficient and costs are down. They don't do standard 2/20 but rather have a fee model that incorporates operating costs and passes on to client. There is an interesting situation as, being a fiduciary, if one were to take the thinking there, they should perhaps operate in this new way regardless because this will pass savings to client. They had expected multiple IT snafus in transitioning to new way of operating but were surprised that everything went smoothly. My friend is much happier as he no longer spends 4 hours a day commuting and can take a slow afternoon with his kids. NYC real estate is not going to be in a good place very soon
