I'm a climate skeptic and run a thread on SI called Politics of Energy, which deals with energy and climate issues. Its a complicated subject and OT here, but a couple big picture things to consider:: First, we know that the earth was warmer during the Holocene Climate Optimum. This wasn't a catastrophe, in fact, the climate was better (for us) then than now. No arctic "methane bomb" exploded, not even when the permafrost that extended to Seattle and Boston melted.
