I supported the lockdown long before most and you can verify by looking at my posts on SI. The only solution was a lockdown, just like the only solution during the Great Recession was bailing out the criminals who caused the collapse. Life is not black and white. It's more complicated but we know republicans never get it right. During the Great Recession republicans wanted spending cuts. Who thinks like that? Trump supporters.
