It sounds like they can do a ton of harm. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, especially when you are in the vulnerable category. It looks like the medical community is figuring out more all the time, I just wish politics were checked at the door with issues like this but they are not. Nobody dies of anything but covid anymore. Early info from China would have been invaluable.

GZ, it depends on how you look at it. By the time ventilators are used, these people are dying, and most are past the point of saving. The ventilators may help save a few, but only prolong the suffering for most. The COVID-19 and lack of proper care not to get infected in the first place are the real killers in this pandemic. Keep social distancing with N-95 masks, keep your immune system healthy, get adequate vitamin D, zinc,vitamin C etc. Most people that I see are taking no precautions , running into 7-11 to buy their cigarettes and beer with no mask or distancing, etc. These people are committing suicide all by themselves.If they end up dying on a ventilator it will be their stupidity that killed them.
