That's because of the psychological ceiling. No-one is willing to pay more that $30/sh for CPQ with all the uncertainity about this DEC thing.

Pfieffer has said, that he will have a plan by May on how DEC would fit in. Expect this stock to "channel" until May.

Didn't Steve advise people to buy April options. OOOPS There goes Steve's credibility!!!

It is a 2 : 1 split for DEC share holders, so $30 is a short term ceiling for CPQ !!!
