SF,
Very low trading volume today, any thoughts as to why? Few sellers,
seems like just traders playing the $1 swings. Seems like the price
is establishing a base around $30.25 for the last several days. Where
do you see us for the rest of the week?
The time pattern is at 9 days from the last low, which previously
heralded a downward movement for a few days. Maybe this is the
last down cycle prior to earnings.
Anyone have any comments or TA read on this??

BB

Re: Japan finance ministry scandal

Don't know how the market will react, but I see it as a positive. Finance Ministry, and this minister in particular, have been central figures opposing reform of the financial system. This scandal substantially weakens their hand, and strengthens the Prime Minister's--and he's been trying to move to a more market oriented environment in Japan.

(Boy, things take a long time in that country!)

This is small fry. Nikkei will be directionless with upward bias continuing. This is just house cleaning.
