If Wall Street hates this stock so much and thinks the short term outlook stinks, how come you still have to pay 5 1/2 bucks for Jul 15 calls and 1 5/16 for Jul 30s? It's never even been to 30 yet. These premiums are ridiculous. Something just doesn't add up.

CREAF's cash position now would buy about 23 million shares or 25% of total. Still looks to me like they could earn well over $200 million this calender year. I would think this would be more than enough to cover continuing operations. Anybody know for sure?

I wish they would buy every last share they can with their cash when authority is granted. I don't think Wall Street gives a hoot about their cash position. In fact, if I was Sim, I would look for financing to take the company private. Then they wouldn't have to answer to these cutthroats. If they don't buy back soon, I think some outsider is going to come in and make a lowball offer for about 22 bucks. Good chance they could get enough shares to grab control right now.

Dennis

P.S. Please God, just grant CREAF buyback authority. That's not too much to ask, is it? Thanks.

Voodoo at work

Chip was bragging earlier about putting the curse on TLABs who also just rolled out terrific earnings and you should see the master in action.

www4.techstocks.com

12 posts in 2 days that start with 'Boys I've been reading my tea leaves and just went short - things look real ugly."

You ought to read their thread - it's like reading drama. At first the TLAB shareholders are confused and questioning. The witchdoctor, though, has total confidence and explains that their stock will drop despite great earnings, etc - the tea leaves say so. In short order, they sell and the stock drops - over two points today.

I think we're encountering a facet of the information age we all ought to think about. Valid information and opinion is one thing. Blatant manipulation is another.

I don't believe someone or some institution would try to manipulate CREAF with their own money but I'd certainly be willing to believe someone or some institution would try to manipulate CREAF by manipulating CREAF shareholders - and never spend a cent.

I'm not trying to spread paranoia but I am trying to urge caution. Being forewarned is being forearmed.

Best of luck,

Steve
