Said Rangappa: “This does not help Flynn. This is a long list of names of people across disparate areas of government who independently felt that the intelligence reports they were reading were so alarming that they needed to know—without knowing, by the way, who it was beforehand—[who] the person was that was engaging in that communication or activity.”

Congratulations. That's the most hilarious spin that I have read this year, especially the ambassador to San Marino, and 5 (yes, 5) Treasury Secretaries and of course Samantha Powers, 7 times from the UN Ambassador's office, among so many other NOBODIES.

Driving this point home, Rangappa asked of Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell: “Why not go ahead and disclose the underlying intelligence report?

Yes, please do that, especially for the ambassador to San Marino....<<<ROAR>>>

NOPE...Nobody can make this shit up!!

Looks like Trump is getting some support from the left. Obama might be in trouble.

Sen. Christopher Dodd, D-Conn:

Unmasking requests are rarely requested and made infrequently by non-career political appointees

New York Times:
“The identities of American officials whose communications are intercepted are usually closely protected by law, and not included even in classified intelligence reports. Access to the names may be authorized by the N.S.A. only in response to special requests, and these are not common, particularly from policy makers.”

Oh wait, nevermind! Those quotes pertained to the "scandal" that Under Secretary of State John Bolton had made 10 unmasking requests in four years. The NYT and Dems have completely changed their tune when it was revealed that Obama's UN Ambassador Samantha Power made 260 unmasking requests in one year alone.
