My argument is with the meme that you mentioned but thankfully did not post.:-) not the article so much.

Medical professional or not, yes, I agree that those are all good and true points and concerns.

But wearing a mask properly is important.

Properly worn and taken care of and there will not be these problems, any more than a scarf worn in the winter.

More effective than no mask and "safer" so long that we don't follow the examples of our dear leaders :
