I agree. A lot of fundamental research helps. I like using the sector charts for a scanning within the sector as well as looking at how any one sector is fairing against the rest. I think it's wise to view which company(s) in the group are outpreforming or lagging. In the past, all too often I would look at a few stocks within a sector and not really see the group as a whole, due to too small a sample group. AVGO/Broadcom has been remarkable the past several years!
