Interesting thread. The biggest argument argument against Marxism is the death of millions. The US killed around 130 million Native Americans so we kinda beat them. Add the number of unrecorded deaths of blacks and I think we beat Marxists by a lot. This is not a defense of Marxism, but instead a simple truth about what the US was able to do. What we have today is not the capitalism we learn in books and stories. This is some horrible creature that depends on massive government debt from tax cuts, subsidies, bailouts and lots of free money. It's not capitalism, it's not Marxism. It's the government controlling the profits of every company, corporation, and person in the country with republicans leading the way.
