Rat doesn't generally buy more than he can carry in 2 shopping bags, so he doesn't use carts. Sometimes he'll return somebody else's cart on his way into the store. IIRC, a winger once told him he shouldn't, cuz somebody was being paid to do the job. It didn't make much difference; he continued to return them.

I always do. I suspect the people who don't are people who's freedumb allows them to make an excuse for themselves, that is, your folks. Just as it's YOUR folks who aren't wearing masks, etc. Same thing.
