No it wasn't unreasonable, the CDC and WHO where not all that long ago saying that masks were unnecessary even counter productive. And they can be if they cause you to touch your face a lot more to adjust them. I don't think that's enough. They still probably help to keep you from catching a disease. They help even more to keep you from spreading it. But having the contrary opinion isn't some far out whacko idea. If your going to have an actual discussion then ideas you disagree with should be endangered with not just shut up or kicked out. Even if that engagement is to refute the idea. I just went back and read all of his posts. And the response seems very hasty to me. A couple of posts were impolite and/or partisan but no more so then quite a few other people who seem to post here. It all seems to be about having a different opinion. I don't think it serves the discussion to narrow it to a set of specific opinions.
