Well, the old joke about bankers, which I believe I heard from Alan Abelson, is that if you want to get a banker to laugh show him pictures of starving widows and orphans. Bankers traditionally don't care much about average citizens or the poor, since they don't have much money. Bankers do care about the rich, as they do have money, so I expect Powell will do everything he can to continue levitating the asset bubbles. Whether or not he succeeds, is another story, yet to be written.
