New version of Netware 4.11 for Small Business looks good novell.com This release has both Groupware and Netscape's web server included. That positions Novell to sell a complete Internet web access solution to small businesses. Its late in the 4.11 product cycle to be announcing this but nevertheless if promoted properly in the channel, this could be a product that small businesses take a look at as an upgrade to their 3.X systems. Let's see how Novell does in the field with the sales effort. Also important is what Novell will learn from this product about what it has to produce for the small business customer in the internet market. With Apache (Unix based)still dominating the web server market, followed by MSFT and NSCP, Novell still has room to take market share. Small customers are adverse to UNIX and may very well go with something they already understand --- Netware, if they haven't switched to NT.
