It's almost like their entire party is built on the simple premises of always collapsing the economy and always exploding the debt. The problem is that they don't have economic policies so much as they have economic dogma. It really doesn't matter if their dogma makes things better or worse. They are bound and determined to carry through in the face of failure. Because failure only means they didn't try hard enough. We can see something similar in the death grip the Trump supporters have on HCQ as a "cure" for COVID-19. Facts don't matter. They stubbornly cling to their myths and try to fanwank ways to make it seem different than the actual facts illustrate. It is a faith-based approach vs. a reality-based one.
