Skip, looks like you were right on the short issue! How exactly did you know?

And could you explain in a little more detail how someone (or a market maker) could be short a stock as of 1/15/98 and not have their shares listed as such in the official report? I have always relied on the official short interest figures as published in the WSJ as near 100% accurate. If this isn't the case, I need to know how and why this can be.

Skipard,
Here comes old Cannon Ball Radica, boiler a glowing and smoke a blowing. Full steam ahead. Opps, I see some idiot playing on the track. I guess if we run over him, it'll help to grease the wheels. More coal boys! By God, MORE COAL I SAY!!!

At this point, the fundamentals are driving this carpet of steel. Will be interesting to see how next option expiration date acts with the report date so close to it.

What does a major short seller do when he called it this wrong and turns around to see the slock up 20%, then 30% and going to 40%. Betting on a poor Q1 and finding out that the worst quarter of the year is setting records, what can the poor sap do? Look for a train track to stand on, I guess. Just my opinion. We'll see.
