Are People with Lupus Protected Against COVID-19?

There is no evidence that taking hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil) is effective in preventing a person from contracting the coronavirus (COVID-19). People with lupus should follow the guidance of their doctor and the safety guidelines being issued by the CDC.

So, last I heard they had compiled stats from lupus and RA patients on HCQ, and the CV infection rate was minuscule or zero. Also, my buddy is a rheumatologist with more than a hundred patients on long term HCQ, and none are positive for CV.

So, yeah, no studies. Studies take years. But a lot of good results.
