>>No one has alleged that HCQ has prophylactic properties. Or, that HCQ alone is a treatment for the virus. Or that it will replace a vaccine as Lane suggested. No idea where you got that idea, but on review of your posts I see it slipped into to the conversation.

I think, perhaps, you to my comments on mitigation for a lack of vaccine as though I thought it had preventive value.

From my posts I believe I have been clear at all times it is a treatment, not a preventive. And so has Zelenski, at least what I’ve seen. HCQ works, is a treatment and a cure for most. But the overwhelming evidence is that Zinc is and essential active agent. HCQ alone has not been shown to cure the virus. With zinc, it has.

While taking HCQ with Zinc probably would serve as a prophylactic for a period, that has not been proved but it could still be the subject of an RCT, and ethically so. You give it to a lot of people and test people for antibodies afterward. Then test the result for significant reduction in antibodies.

It isn’t a worthy argument, however. It should be self evident that if you have a vaccine you would prefer that over taking HCQ and Zinc routinely.

The bottom line here is we need to be making all the HCQ we can. The claim that it is unduly dangerous has been shot down as the liberal media lie it always was.
