Marxism only killed hundreds of millions of people throughout all of modern history, but I'm sure that's only because "real Marxism" was never tried ... So sad, but this is root of and credo for all liberal movements!

He's a total wack job, so it's not surprising. But then again, the Democrats are wholly embracing Communism today. That's why we see them siding with the Chinese Communists over the country of their birth, the USA. So really, the Democrats are all wack jobs too. When I used to run most of the Latin American countries in my executive job long ago, one of the things I always marveled at in my discussions with some of the leaders in those countries was how they glowingly talked about their socialist and communist policies. Being a very straightforward person and being in an era where Americans were generally admired and were known for not being politically correct, I said what I thought then and what I think now. I'd tell those leaders that they were voting for their own enslavement and that if they wanted more prosperity they would vote with their wallets and with their feet, not for more socialism and communism, but for more freedom and free markets. But they continue to do the opposite in places like Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Mexico, and many of the rest. The problem is that they are caught in the trap of corruption that syphons off tax revenues into political pockets and the cycle of poverty that comes from too much debt in US dollars and currencies that lose value to the dollar over time making the debt harder to pay off. So their economies become sclerotic and chronically underperform their potential. In those years, I came to understand how a people can quite literally vote themselves into enslavement by voting for a Socialist/Communist. That is precisely what they mean by "Democratic Socialism". It is the use of Democracy to vote in Socialism, which then transforms into a Socialist/Communist Dictatorship with unsurprising regularity, because that is the plan. Always. The recent example is Venezuela, but they are not the only example. And now it is happening in the USA. I never dreamed I'd see Americans fall into this trap. But here we are. When they win, and I now believe it is inevitable that they will after Trump is gone, the USA will not be immune to the predations of Communism. We are already losing every freedom we hold dear. Freedom of speech is dead due to the liberal tech companies. Freedom of assembly has come under assault due to the totalitarian governors using COVID as the excuse. The Bill of Rights was destroyed with the passage of the Patriot Act and the FISA law. The right to liberty, to own and operate your business or to work on demand, has been denied to millions of Americans by the government with very little rational thought, based more on fear. The 2nd Amendment rights have been under assault for awhile now. Our right to privacy has been all but destroyed. Our right to justice has been trampled on and it is now clear to everyone that if you are a Democrat, then you get a pass, but if you are a conservative you get the book thrown at you for very little. In addition, if you are rich and powerful, you get a pass, but if you are in the 99%, you get a jail sentence. I could go on, but it is too depressing. In many ways, we have already embraced Communism in our culture. Political Correctness is a path to censorship of speech and the narrative is used to control your thoughts. Social Justice is code for the creation of many victim groups to divide and conquer the population through tribal warfare and class warfare. It is classic Communist tactics for the subversion of Democracies. The next steps of destroying everything we hold dear will be relatively easy. The Democrat Communists have already won the hearts and minds of the Millennials and likely will win among Gen Z. So Gen X and the Boomers may not believe in Communism, but we are powerless to stop the next generations from destroying the USA with Communism. We let our guard down and let our mass media, our tech companies, our Universities and grade schools, all get infiltrated by this cancer. Now it is too late to turn back the tide. You can see how they are already using the COVID crisis to pass legislation on economic relief packages that create more dependency, even as the Democrat Governors and Mayors continue to lock people down, so they have no choice but to accept that dependency. This dependency on government largesse is the most important step for the creation of a Communist government. They need people who are not independent and self-sufficient. They need people who are fearful and incapable of taking care of themselves, so they can take over and control the people. It's the same in every Communist Country. You and I will see this transformation in our lifetimes. It's not too far away. My family lost all of their upper middle class wealth accumulated over generations, when Castro took over. They fled to the USA and became citizens. I was born here. My parents had very little. I now have a lot and consider myself rich and am happy in retirement. I may see the day when a lifetime's wealth is stolen from me by Communists, just as they did it to my parents and grandparents. I can assure you, I will not go down into penury without a fight. I hope other Americans won't either when the time comes. Right now, I fight with my voice, my words, and my vote. I hope everyone who is capable will do the same. It is still possible to reach some of the younger people and educate them properly with our experiences. I hope that will be enough. I doubt it will.
