I have a dear family member that is under that "government school's umbrella." While I am glad she is getting in on the unbelievable salary, perks and benefits, I want to shudder at times when I hear about it and know that this is how the entire education system is set up. It reaches down to an age that leaves virtually no childhood for babies. And even before the school system takes them, the mothers think they HAVE to put their babies in all sorts of activities and structured "play dates." Mebbe they do have to so that their babies have a chance of keeping up with other babies....what do I know? My children stayed with me until kindergarten at the ripe old age of FIVE!
