No, I have done plenty of bashing in the past, but took a long hiatus.
I had stated all along that IOM had two problems with their model:

1) Zip would not become the standard
2) Even if it did, the razor blade analogy was wrong because:

a) The tie ratios would not be close to what bulls predicted. Only the bulls on this board had the storage reqs being used in the
forecasts.

b) That it was not clear to me that someone could not come up with
a less expensive Zip-compatible disk.

Oh, and I also questioned the rebate accounting and jaz quality problems. Some here seem to think the rebate accounting issue was a short smokescreen that has been disproven. It has hardly been disproven and may have been partially responsible for this past quarter's problems. The jaz qualily problems are now legendary.
