Maybe, but power is intoxicating. Our Freedom of Speech should not have to rely on the benevolence of Zuckerberg or any other tech mogul. It should be guaranteed and protected by law, regardless of whether it is an individual, a company, or a government institution that is attempting to censor you. But the totalitarians found a loophole to destroy our Freedom of Speech. They say our government cannot protect our Freedom, because that would be trampling on the rights of corporations to do whatever they want. It's perverse, but technically, they are correct, although they know damned well this was not the intent of our Constitution and the 1st Amendment. Our laws are outdated and are not equal to the task of protecting our freedoms from the predations of the tech companies. Unfortunately, we have a Congress that is completely worthless and asleep at the wheel. So we can't look for salvation there. The ACLU is a hopelessly liberal, which means Communist organization, so they love the fact that conservative speech is being censored. So no help there. Trump gets the problem and has commented on it, but he doesn't have the power to do anything about it. So we're stuck as our Freedom of Speech dies. It's a terrible thing to see happen. How much longer do we get to post what we want here? Already, I've been banned on this thread. If we get to indignant and stray from the narrative too loudly, we could be banned again. We're in trouble in this country. Serious trouble.
