I agree. I have to say though, EQU's comment about "soft mortality" was strange (and funny).

Merrill Lynch can certainly be a flaky investment house. Over the summer they were pounding the table over Micron Technology (more than once). If they are such perceptive analysts then why did they not realize the commodity nature of MU's products. They may very well be the reverse barometer.

YORK GROUP INC. Customer Finds New Casket Supplier for 1999

Feb. 6, 1998, The York Group Inc. (Nasdaq:YRKG - news) said it has been informed by Service Corporation International (NYSE:SRV - news) that SRV has entered into a supply agreement to purchase substantially all of its caskets from another supplier, beginning Jan. 1, 1999.

YRKG noted that its casket supply agreement with SRV expires on Dec. 31, 1998. SRV intends to honor the existing agreement for the remainder of 1998.
