Good to know. Let them make as many as they can.

I was surprised that the CDC banned some 60+ Chinese mask manufacturers - due to some imperfections. At least, they should have waited until domestic manufacturing of procedure masks picks up. Any plain procedure mask is better than those home made cloth things. They’re also very cheap - they won’t have the same margin N95 have. May be more difficult to supply enough of them.

For every day use, btw, N95 are a real pain. They’re uncomfortable, make it more difficult to breath - and to talk. If I had to have a CT scan, I’d rather have a N95 - but, for mandatory mask wearing in town or a 10 min visit to a supermarket - a plain cheap procedure mask is fine.
