Lawrence, gold is holding at 7:30 est at 300.55-.95 and silver at 6.20 which is a nice run up but no one is mentioning it in the media?
No direct link of POG to BCMD price but it can't hurt, especially if POG gets into sell territory:)

Ok, I'll swallow my own hook. The link was a roundabout to Odin Strandberg, with whom I spoke a few days ago. I'll have to delay his comments, as the question is more intriguing.

If I'm Jim Chapin, I'm going to show very little in earnings. Maybe some from the sale of the jewelry grade ore. Why? The POG sucks and I have a partner who can sustain operations. Also, I'm less concerned with the shares (shareholders) on the open market than my current incoming fresh money. I'm going to keep Sterling happy. I have everyone else's money and the market can't really influence the corporate agenda. So I'm gonna explore and assess the resources on the claims. Production takes a backseat.

I'm not looking for any earnings for the last quarter. Maybe nothing significant for the next year, or until Sterling money is gone. The only near term (1-2 month) positive blip I see in price will be if the option JV option is exercised.
