unfortunately most of those deaths are in Ontario and Quebec the two Provinces with the largest populations, they took too long to ban old folks home workers from working part time in other homes, B.C, stopped that policy early and even though some people died they were able to limit the spread from home to home, B.C. had a soft lock down, some business's were closed, gyms, sports, beaches, parks, concerts, movies, barbershops ,hair salons, malls, anywhere multiple people could not social distance, stand alone stores could remain open if they could keep their customers apart, restaurants allowed to stay open for drive through or pickup, essential services remained open for business, too many to name, travelers allowed in had to self quarantine, the border with Washington State closed except for essential services and goods, Cruise ships banned. many people wearing masks, B.C. Population 5,1 million

laboratory confirmed cases 2507, confirmed deaths 155, currently admitted to ICU 8, recovered 2042.
B.C. is going to ease the lock down conditions as are other Provinces so we will see what happens, Ontario and Quebec are still seeing many new infections so I expect they may have to lock down again
