Timothy, My expertise is more at the molecular than financial level. I think that AHP's pipeline has a great deal of potential and a merger would help focus R&D.

Today's FT quotes Morgan Stanley as saying AHP/SBH merger was "made in heaven", yesterday's Reuter's noted the drug companies leading the FTSE100 to record levels, and yesterday's AP took note of the positive effects of the potential merger on US drug company prices. Details at home.att.net .
