Nope. It all correlates to population density. The virus spreads more quickly where people are more packed together. Duhhh. It's not rocket science but it does take a level of thinking above a person who sucks the bulbous ass of trump 24/7. Aka science and math. Something Rcons abhor. Because truth is so inconvenient. And it just so happens that large population centers do tend to vote Dem. Even in red states such as TX GA FL, the large population centers vote Dem. It's only due to gerrymandering (aka cheating) that many red states remain red... that and the rural voters have sex with sheep and then are told Trump the rapist was sent from god.
