Cancellation of this treaty means we can't spy on Russia. We don't mass troops on our borders ... before Trump, that is. And the US isn't a danger to our neighbors .... again, till Trump. But Russia IS a threat to its neighbors - how many invasions have they made in under Putin? Crimea/Ukraine, Donbas/Ukraine, Transnistria/Moldavia, South Ossetia/Georgia, Abkhazia/Georgia .... all of these are sections of neighboring countries, Russia has invaded in the Putin era. Trump is canceling the Open Skies treaty to make it easier for Putin to launch surprise attacks on other neighbors ... Belarus, the Balkin countries, Poland, whatever.
