Rick:

Thanks for digging through the info. I guess the part that upsets me the most is the info on ANDROGRAPHIS PANICULATA. I mean, if the FDA would not let them sell AndroVir in 1997, why could they sell it in 1998?

Its also dissapointing about the CRADA. I had hoped differently. I also wonder about the timing of the FDA decision. Did Koch and Babish know before they went to the big city to sell Paracelsian to Smith barney? No wonder Babish was selling his shares during the meeting....

So I guess SSB is right. Biomar must just be using Paracelsian as a corporate shell for their business.

Thanks again for the digging.

(Also, I appreciate the packer jab. I have been waiting for Larry to say, "I told you so.")

Rick, thanks for the analysis. I don't understand why the company just didn't roll out its products to the 3rd world when the FDA terminated the USA plans. It's the 3rd world that could afford the herbal solution much easier than the expensive 3 drug cocktail. Something doesn't ring true here. Rolling out to the 3rd world seems so obvious. What's wrong with this picture?

Rick,

Two points here. 1) I don't think you'll see anymore empoyee cut backs. After all, I think there was only a secretary and Tachovsky left when Biomar stepped in. Not much room for down sizing.

2) They apparently intent to market the herbs INTACT. Androvir and Androcar were purified components of Andorgraphis P. Since the whole herb is not a purified "pharmaceutical" per se, they intend to side skirt the FDA ruling by selling the crude substance. It's a strategy that may work from an FDA approval viewpoint but I doubt the end product will have the same medical benefit as the purified components would have. Hence, a slim market potential IMHO.
