You make it sound juicy enough...reasonable and logical....but when you get to the end, the Let's see part, I'm reminded of the quote that has been questionably attributed to Einstein but never really nailed down as to its source: the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. No matter who said it, it makes sense. And "we've got our candidate ligand" a whole bunch of times, haven't we? Good luck.
