Meg,

I am glad you made some sense out of this nonsense so you could comment on it. I really had no idea what Eric was talking about.

It does seem lately the thread is getting some postings that are misusing the terminology like SDRAM vs DRAM ...but now... SRAM???? I actually thought his SRAM was a typo for SDRAM... or.... maybe he was talking about ZBT SRAM. But when he started talking about 256mb DRAM by 2000 I just gave up.<g>

Megs,

How much $ (ballpark) will it take mu to ramp up to full 64mb production? And how long will it take? Your opinion please?

BOTTOM LINE: Silicon Valley Asscociate ill informed...

Megs, words well expressed. What grates is not so much the fact that some of the charlatans (mostly bearish) out here produce so much gibberish, rather they do so with an implied sense of authority and knowledge (on everything from chip making to how product costs are computed) that points to a distinct possibility of having been repeatedly dropped on their heads while infants... (G). As PGWodehouse might say, Mr. Silicon valley associate, not to forget the bug, speaks like a gargoyle with water on the brain (G).

Best Regards,

Sridhar
