Republicans said they'd balance the budget even though they gave $1.9 trillion to the rich. The rich used government money to increase the stock market which republicans then called "pro-business." That's a sickness. A very dark place for any man. We can't borrow ourselves into prosperity. If we want economic growth, don't give money to the rich or to states or to corporations or to any other entity. Give every penny to us and watch how fast we spend it and make the economy grow. But that can't happen. The donor class needs money from the Treasury to fund the next election cycle. They'd never use their own money.
