I think Twitter is ill-advised to become a self-appointed arbiter of truth, but that's just a bad business decision (in my opinion)
My worldview is context over principle. I don't care if it's truth, violence, porn, etc., all businesses have a right to determine how much (or not) of these and other contentious/controversial topics they care to (dis)allow. I therefore don't ascribe to the slippery slope model, which I consider akin to zero tolerance, which I consider akin to zero context, which I consider idiocy. When you think about it, that's the moderator model anyhow: my house, my rules; if you don't like them, leave.
