Paul and all,

This is the view from the channel which hates DELL.
DELL has been successfully competing with full service providers, how does this change their model for success? I do not think it matters a lot to DELL...yet.

Hmmmmm.....If DELL had to pull its service business from DEC then the deal with DEC is a less attractive for CPQ. That business could go to UNISYS and might make that stock attractive for purchase.

Paul My favorite part of the link was this: Unisys, The company is one of two multinational service providers for Compaq, Digital's MCS being the other.

It would be fun to watch if DELL and Unisys got together. Dell would be paying CPQ and CPQ would be paying DELL. That wouldn't last for long though. <gg>
