Oh, just another day on Wall Street. We have Prissy, who tells the SI Thread, who's honest and who's not. Then, we have Cymi mgmt, who see's their stock go from the $ 50 high to 14 5/8, without one comment, and last but not least, the diehard longs who can't believe, that economics just don't apply here.
Eat a beaver, save a tree.

<<The numbers to be announced on Thursday are known by many insiders by now. Lawyers, accountants, secretaries...they have friends.>>

Please, Michael. Get a grip. As a lawyer with very substantial experience in '33 and '34 Act matters, I advise you that you need one. Only a complete idiot would trade on the inside, and complete idiots don't pack enough cash to make any difference at all. Except for once in a blue moon, it just doesn't happen. Those with the information and the cash have the status, income, professional status, and brains not to do it.

Regards,

John

maybe the volume is so low because Cymer could come out with great earnings and the stock could go down
or terrible earnings and go up.

don't forget we are trying to make money here not guess the earnings

Yes, Mike, when there's uncertainty in the markets (Asia, Clinton, etc.) the institutional investors aren't going to risk being in small stocks that aren't as liquid or as "predictable". It may be awhile before we see small stocks take off again.
