One more time in Cantonese, gung hei faat choi. At least the HK market is closed for several days and can't contribute to any slide over here. There was a scary article in the WSJ today though that said conditions in Indonesia are going to spark widespread rioting any day now. Also, another WSJ article reiterated that the HK dollar better remain pegged to the US dollar or all hell will break loose.

Qualcomm Gets $70 Million Job

SAN DIEGO -- Qualcomm Inc. said it received a contract valued at $70 million to supply a wireless local telephone system in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The contract was awarded by African Telecommunications Inc. for what it calls "wireless local loop" technology.
