I really don't have a strong opinion on management either way. The reason is time may prove that they were inept and unable to set a course and stick to it, or just the opposite may prove to be the case. That is, that they were brilliant and adapted as necessary to a rapidly changing environment. Only time will answer that. Of course, they could actually prove to be either lucky or unlucky. Luck is often the major factor in success. I do think Bill has shown that he hears the criticism. I think he has tried to bring in capable people to help run the business, although I certainly have no first hand knowledge of the people he has hired. They might all be yes men. I hope not. I strongly support the idea that he has the right and obligation to chart the course he believes is best for the stockholders, employees, and customers of the company. Right or wrong, he's paid to make the ultimate choices and take the praise or criticism. It's so easy for everyone to play Monday morning quarterback.
