As a shareholder of both ANZ and CLL who hasn't posted to this thread in quite some time (even though I follow this thread quite religiously), I feel compelled to do so now. In particular, I wanted to pose a few questions to other ANZ investors using this forum. Many of you who are regular contributors to this thread (or were--at least until recently) and who seemed to have VERY GOOD knowledge of ANZ (those such as JAS, DeKold, Mike, etc) seemed confident, if not euphoric, in your beliefs that the value of ANZ was going to rise rather precipitously at the beginning of the new year. Given that the POG has risen significantly in recent weeks, I was wondering if you could share with the rest of the forum your ideas and\or opinions as to why the value of ANZ has declined to near all time lows? Do any of you have information that have led you to believe that the material circumstances of ANZ has changed for the worse in recent weeks?

Moreover, has anyone heard whether we can expect some news from ANZ anytime soon? The last news was the much heralded promotional tour of Western Canada which (according to the comments posted on this thread) left much to be desired.

Battered and Bruised (but not broken),

David H.
